ABOUT ME

It’s 1994 and I’m in the back seat of the car using my portable TV to watch The Leeza Gibbons Show when my mom asks me what she’s got on today. I squint. Um, a pale brown pantsuit and a scarf?
— Me, 12 years old

I'm a MN-raised SF-based former New Yorker illustrator, designer, video producer, and photographer.

I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in art (photography and video), then immediately moved to NYC where I spent the next nine years working in media and television.

I have cast and produced episodes of Emmy Award-winning docu-series MTV's Made, did casting and development for major networks and cable networks (TLC, MTV, the CW, Discovery Communications), produced, shot, and edited dozens of hours of online video content for major book publishers like Hyperion Books, HarperCollins, Entertainment Weekly, and also Passport Magazine, the country's largest gay travel Magazine, for which I recently completed a series of Lexus-sponsored advertorial travel videos. I was the contributing illustrator for the 2016 NYC Pride Guide (circulation of 100,000), which included the cover image, and in 2018 I was honored have the opportunity to create the key art and marketing collateral for the 45th Annual Castro Street Fair, which was founded by my personal hero Harvey Milk. My photography is on display and for sale at the William Scott Gallery in Provincetown, MA.

l and have been snapping photos, drawing, and shooting video since I was a kid. Some programs I use in my work: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, ProCreate, Adobe Draw, After Effects.
